Description
“Well-behaved women seldom make history.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
Sarasota is certainly no stranger to that quote. Join us as we take a stroll through downtown Sarasota and hear the stories of the women who made this city who it is today.
These are the stories of the women, some who were pretty wild for their day, some forged paths that still impact women today, and others were hidden in our history.
Sarasota has no shortage of tales about amazing strong women who have been able to make a big difference in their community. On this walking tour of downtown Sarasota, we will travel as far back as the 1800’s and then all the way to present day. Our tour will conclude with us toasting in tribute to these Wild Women who had an impact on so many lives.
The $40 price includes the tour, appetizers and cocktails*.
Spots are limited and we would to see you there. Tickets must be purchased by February 14, 2020.
*Note: We will meet at the Five Points Star Statue in downtown Sarasota. Walking Tour will leave promptly at 6 PM and will conclude at a downtown restaurant. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Price includes one cocktail and appetizers.
